About Me
Dogs and books were my entire childhood. I read all the dog literature and fantasy fiction my small english seaside town library possessed - everyone in there knew my name (just call me Matilda). I had most of the dog breeds, and wizards down by the time I was six.
When I was nine my parents got a divorce, and I got a pup. I named him Toby; he was a west highland terrier. Puppy Toby liked to poop in corners, and battle with evil shoe laces.
Some months later my grandma died, but luckily I had Toby - he trotted up to me with his magical intuition and lay down on my lap for hours. That was the first time I ever connected with an animal. Toby made me feel like I wasn’t alone, he was always there with his hilarious escapades, and boundless energy.
Toby was and will always be my best friend. I tried to teach him all the human things, and he taught me about love.
Toby sadly crossed over the rainbow bridge in 2013, the same year I moved to America. I missed him enormously. So, I started hanging out with New York City dogs, and this gradually developed into my dream business, and I love it so.
